Kalki, the brainchild of Laura Reddy and Paul Pinthon of Maroma and Prema Adelino and Andre Hababou of Auromodele, opened as a joint venture in Pondicherry on February 24th 1993 meant to be a show window and sales point for both these highly successful export oriented Auroville Units. It also houses products from other Auroville Units and regional artisans.

Spread over 2 floors, the interiors are designed by Andre Hababou and offer an ambience and shopping experience equal to any premium life style store in India or abroad. Its location in the heart of Pondicherry, makes it easily accessible to export clientele as well as domestic buyers. On offer are perfumes, incense, aromatherapy, natural essential oils, flower candles, potpourri etc from Maroma, pret-a-porter feminine, hand painted silks, cards, cushion covers and scarves from Auromodele along with books, bags, belts, sandals, pottery, jewellery, gift sets and many other items from other units.
